Wife of Riverside homicide victim now charged

The wife of a homicide victim has been charged in his death.

Jamie L. Grachek is the third defendant in the killing of 45-year-old John T. Grachek on March 31, 2013, at his home in Riverside.

Montgomery County Prosecutor Mat Heck Jr. announced the charges Tuesday, indicating the 32-year-old woman drove two co-defendants to her estranged husband's home on Rosegarden Court to rob him.

During the Easter home invasion, a 911 call was made and a dispatcher heard multiple gunshots. Police quickly arrived and found the man lying outside the home suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim died at a hospital.

Heck indicated the victim and his wife were involved in a custody dispute.

The co-defendants previously charged are Gary Glenn Webb, Jr., 29, and Jacob B. Gipson, 24, who have been indicted on multiple charges that include murder.

Jamie L. Grachek has been indicted for five counts of complicity to commit murder, two counts of complicity to commit aggravated burglary, two counts of complicity to commit aggravated robbery and one count of complicity to commit felonious assault.

Each of the charges include mandatory three-year firearm specification, which means extra prison time should there be a conviction.

Grachek is to be arraigned April 1.
