A child was taken to Greene Memorial Hospital as a precaution after getting hit by a car in Xenia Monday morning.
Xenia police said the child suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
The incident remains under investigation, and at this point, the driver has not been cited. Police are working to determine who was at fault.

Police and medics in Xenia have responded to a report of a child struck by a vehicle Monday morning.
Emergency crews were dispatched around 7:15 a.m. to the intersection of Rockwell Drive and West Second Street after a child was reportedly hit by a vehicle.
The condition of the victim was not immediately known.
