A school official tells us it was an elementary bus carrying 29 students. None of the students were taken to a hospital.
The students boarded a different bus that was dispatched to the scene and continued their route to school, according to the official.
The Honda driver was taken to the hospital.
Police on scene were not authorized to provide further details about what happened.
FIRST REPORT
Students on board a West Carrollton bus that was involved in a head-on collision this morning were all OK, according to police.
The crash happened around 8:45 a.m. at Lamme and West Alex Bell roads in Miami Twp.
A Honda CRV apparently struck bus No. 15. The Honda sustained heavy damages, but the bus appeared OK.
No students were injured, but it’s unclear whether the CRV driver was hurt.
At 9:20 a.m., there were no students at the scene and the school’s superintendent was there.
