Taylor Swift fans upset at Ticketmaster after huge demand for pre-sale tickets leads to issues

A huge rush of fans looking buy tickets for Taylor Swift’s upcoming “Eras” tour led to an array of technical issues on Ticketmaster Tuesday morning.

Fans took to social media to express their frustrations with the website, stating the website froze, wouldn’t load or their presale codes would not work.

Ticketmaster issued a statement on Twitter citing a “historically unprecedented demand” for the technical issues.

According to the uptime-monitoring site Downdetector, reports of outages peaked around 11:30 a.m. with over 5,000 reported.

Hundreds were still able to secure their tickets, according to Ticketmaster.

The Capital One onsale will be rescheduled for Wednesday at 2 p.m. local venue time.

All presale codes and links set via text will start work at that time, according to Ticketmaster.
