4 dead after semi collides with car on I-71 S in Ashland County

ASHLAND COUNTY — Four people have died after a car and semi-truck collided on I-71 southbound in Ashland County.

Our CBS affiliate WOIO-TV reported the crash happened near the US-250 ext around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday.

They confirmed that the four people who died were in the car, including three others whose conditions are currently unknown.

The semi driver was also is also at the hospital with unknown conditions.

WOIO-TV says the I-71 southbound will be shut down near US-250 as The Highway Patrol continues their investigation.
