1 person hospitalized following house fire in West Chester

One person is in the hospital following a house fire in West Chester Friday night, according to our news partner WCPO in Cincinnati.

Firefighters from West Chester responded to the 9000 block of Cincinnati-Dayton Road around 11:26 p.m.

One adult male was rescued and taken to West Chester Hospital with what officials say are, “life-threatening injuries,” WCPO reports.

Cincinnati-Dayton Road was closed in both directions between West Chester Road and Seminary Street while firefighters worked to put out the fire.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
