A missing cat is the talk of the town in a Marina Del Rey, Calif. neighborhood.
The reason is that the cat’s owner is offering a $20,000 reward.
"It's definitely cat scratch fever. People are going crazy looking for this cat,” said one resident.
The owner says that 6-month-old Bentley is no ordinary cat. She’s an exotic F2 Savanna cat that is rare with a price tag of up to $8,000.
The owner also hired a pet detective and a team of bloodhounds to help find the missing cat.
Bentley has been missing for more than a week since jumping from the owner’s balcony. The reward was first set at $5,000 and has gone up from there.
The owner says that the reward will definitely be paid in full if the cat is found.
