An onboard camera captured the impact and one passenger's frightful reaction when a Regional Transit Authority bus crashed into the FedEx building downtown.
A female was the sole passenger and she can be heard screaming on the video as the bus slammed into the building at Third Street and Ludlow Avenue early Tuesday morning.
The video shows after the impact the driver got up and checked to see if the passenger was OK. They were not injured.
The video was released to media Thursday as the cleanup continues at the crash site.
A FedEx manager declined to comment for this story and referred inquiries to the corporate office.
An RTA spokesperson said the driver is on leave as they review the video and continue to investigate the incident.
Police said at the scene the driver may have dozed off and veered off the roadway.
