A windy day featuring gusts of up to 25 mph will continue this evening with scattered clouds as temperatures fall into the 50s before settling into the upper 30s tonight, StormCenter 7 Meteorologist Rich Wirdzek said Tuesday afternoon.
Clouds will dissipate later tonight and the wind will relax as well.
Wednesday: High pressure will briefly take over, yielding sunny skies. The afternoon will be a little breezy with highs in the low 60s.
Thursday: High pressure will shift east as warm and moist air stream into the region from the south. The risk for severe weather remains low, but a few storms could produce brief periods of high winds and some hail. Highs will be in the low 70s.
Friday: Cooler air will work back into the area behind the cold front. Lingering clouds and showers are possible throughout the day. Showers may briefly end as some light wet snow late Friday night. Highs in the upper 50s.
Saturday: Sunny skies with highs near 50.
Easter: Partly cloudy and breezy. A passing shower is possible far north of Interstate 70. Highs in the upper 50s.
