McLEAN COUNTY, Illinois — A man accused of kidnapping and abducting a 5-year-old girl from Stark County is facing charges after being taken into custody in Illinois.
According to our news partners at WBNS, McLean County Sheriff Jon Sandage shared details on the recovery of Ana Burke, who was last seen at a Goodwill store in Canton Thursday evening.

Sandage said deputies were called to investigate a suspicious vehicle parked near a field entrance in Bloomington, Illinois.
Police ran a check on the license plate and learned of an outstanding warrant for Jonathan Stinnett and an active AMBER Alert for Burke.
According to WBNS, Stinnett, 36, was asleep in the front seat and Burke was in the back seat of the van.

Authorities took Stinnett into custody and Burke was safely taken into police protection.
Sandage said Stinnett was being held in the McLean County Detention Facility on a kidnapping warrant.
McLean County Sheriff’s Office is working with local and federal officials in this investigation, according to WBNS.
