XENIA — One of two Xenia Township levies has been narrowly rejected, requiring a recount.

The Xenia Township road levy from the May 2 Election was rejected by five votes, 448 to 443, according to final results from the Greene County Board of Elections.
They did pass the fire levy, 461 to 426.
Both were 3.5 mill levies for five years and would cost $122.50 more annually per $100,000 in property value.
