It will be taking place from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Wright Brothers Memorial at the 2300 block of Memorial Road off Kauffman Avenue, according to a WPAFB spokesperson.

Experts and organizations from across the state will highlight local pollinator initiatives and share their knowledge on how to protect these populations.

WPAFB was the first military installation designated as a Bee City USA community.

The expo will feature a native plant sale, food truck, face painting, live bee demonstrations, and other activities.

The family-friendly event is free and open to the public.
