Woman, 21, injured in East Fifth Street robbery in Dayton

DAYTON — A 21-year-old woman was injured in a robbery, where she was hit multiple times with a handgun early Wednesday morning, according to a Dayton police report.

Police responded around 1 a.m. to the area of East Fifth and South Torrence streets on a reported robbery.

According to the report, the robber struck the woman multiple times with the weapon, causing serious injury.

The report did not indicate any arrests had been made in the case.
