CLARK COUNTY — The Ohio State Highway Patrol has released footage showing a suspect who fled the scene of a crash being taken into custody Sunday night in Clark County.
Troopers from the Springfield Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to reports of a crash on eastbound Interstate 70 near mile post 47, according to a spokesperson for OSP.
Shortly after, troopers arrived on scene and saw that the crash involved a single-vehicle.

Troopers made contact with the passenger who advised a domestic violence incident occurred within the passenger cabin of the vehicle, which resulted in the crash.
The driver, Christopher Pitstick, 36, of Enon, fled the scene on foot, the spokesperson said.
OSP’s Aviation Section responded to the scene and located Pitstick in a nearby field.
Pilots directed ground units to the scene and he was taken into custody without incident, the spokesperson said.
Pitstick was booked into the Clark County Jail.
