Volunteers of all ages are needed to help beautify Dayton parks during Make a Difference Day.
Five Rivers MetroParks will celebrate this national day on Saturday, Oct. 26 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Volunteers will work at more than 19 Dayton-area sites, including:
- Invasive species removal at Adventure Central, Aullwood Garden, Carriage Hill, Germantown, Hills & Dales, Island, Possum Creek, Taylorsville and Sugarcreek MetroParks
- Planting and greenspace maintenance at Cox Arboretum, Island, Sugarcreek, Sunrise, and Wegerzyn Gardens MetroParks and the Great Miami Mitigation Bank
- Building raised beds at Possum Creek MetroPark
- Nature Play Area maintenance at Englewood and Wegerzyn Gardens MetroParks
- Litter removal at RiverScape MetroPark

Participants should dress for the weather and activity they chose. Supplies will be provided, but individuals may want to bring gloves and a refillable water bottle.
