News Center 7′s Gabrielle Enright spoke with Kim’s wife ahead of Wednesday’s vigil.

“They called me in the middle of the night and said we have to put your husband on a ventilator or he will die this evening and he wants to know what you want,” Mary Kim said. “I said tell him I love him fiercely and we will fight this.”

It was just a little over a month later that Aaron Kim died.

The vigil will be held at 7 p.m. at the restaurant at 417 W. 2nd St. in Xenia.

Beginning at 5 p.m. on News Center 7 you’ll hear more from Mary Kim and what her plans are for the future of the restaurant.
