VIDEO: Springfield police looking to identify driver who crashed into PNC Bank

SPRINGFIELD — Springfield police are looking to identify a person of interest in connection with a recent hit-and-run.

The crash happened at the PNC Bank located at 2025 E. Main Street at 10:30 p.m. on Friday, April 21, the City of Springfield said in a social media post.

The driver of a Chevy Silverado ran off the road, struck the northwest corner of the building, then backed out and fled, the post said. The driver-side mirror was left behind, and there was damage to the front of the vehicle.
