A 27-year-old man is in the hospital with non-life threatening injuries following a shooting on Haller Avenue in Dayton, according to police.
Our crew says police have established a crime scene in the 900 block of Haller Avenue and have laid evidence markers in the road.
Police tell our crew the victim was shot in an alley behind a barbershop in the 2000 block of Germantown Street after leaving the business.
The victim returned to the barbershop after being shot and police were called, according to police.
FIRST REPORT
Medics have taken a victim from the scene of a reported shooting in the 2000 block of Germantown Street in Dayton.
Dispatchers received a report of a man shot around 7:13 p.m. Tuesday night.
Our crew at the scene says a medic unit left with a victim and police have taped off an area on Germantown Street and Haller Avenue.
Initial reports indicate 5 to 7 shots were fired before police and medics arrived.
