MIAMI TWP., Montgomery County — A 33-year-old man was killed and a woman suffered “severe injuries” after a vehicle crashed into a tree and house in Miami Twp. late Wednesday night, according to police.
Armando Issac, 33, of Miamisburg, was identified as the man killed, according to Montgomery County Coroner Kent Harshbarger. The woman seriously hurt has not been identified.
The crash was reported around 11 p.m. Wednesday in the 7600 block of Jamaica Road.

Investigators said Issac was pronounced dead at the scene and the woman was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
A preliminary investigation found the vehicle went off the roadway and crashed into a tree, splitting the vehicle into two, Officer Pat McCoy, Miami Twp. police public information officer told News Center 7. The force of the crash sent the wreckage into a second tree and into a vacant house, he said.
Excessive speed is believed to be a contributing factor in the crash, however other contributing factors are still under investigation.
