DAYTON — The University of Dayton held its spring commencement ceremony for undergraduates Sunday at the University of Dayton Arena.

UD conferred around 1,600 undergraduate degrees Sunday, including 2,500 for the whole weekend with graduate, doctoral, and law school degrees.
“I can feel your happiness, your pride, and yes, even a little bit of relief,” said Eric Spina, University of Dayton school president. “This day is finally here! This is a day you’ll always remember and cherish.”
The University of Dayton also wrote, “WELCOME to the University of Dayton Alumni Association,” on its Facebook page to the graduating Class of 2023.

The graduates now join an alumni group that now has over 127,000 members.
“You are now a Flyer for life,” said Sharon Howard White, President-Elect of the University of Dayton Alumni Association and Class of 1978.
