NEW CARLISLE — Tecumseh Local Schools were placed on a lockdown Thursday afternoon after staff found a threatening message written on a restroom wall at the high school, according to a post made on the district’s Facebook.
The district said they placed the middle and high school students on a level one lockdown, which means “it is business as usual inside the classrooms, so learning is still taking place.”
Deputies responded around 12:30 p.m. to check on the threat, but the school doesn’t believe it was authentic.
