SPRINGBORO — Springboro’s Oktoberfest kicks off today to give the community a taste of the “old world” through various events and entertainment.

The event will be held at the Springboro United Church of Christ on on Friday Sept. 10 from 6 p.m. to 11p.m. and Saturday, Sept. 11 from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
People will get the chance to experience authentic German food, beers, wines, along with games, polka music and dancing, according to event organizers.

There is also a “Kids Fun Zone” for children to experience.
