Series of home burglaries in Springboro prompts police to ask public’s help

A series of home burglaries that began two weeks ago has prompted Springboro police to ask the public for help in identifying a suspect or suspects.

The invader forces their way inside the ransacks the houses, steals property and then leaves. The incidents have been happening between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., police said in a prepared statement issued Friday.

The burglaries so far have occurred in these areas since Nov. 11:

  • The first block of Oaks Drive
  • The 200 block of Kesling Drive
  • The 500 block of Queensgate Road
  • The 400 block of Spruceway

The police department is asking the public to call in any suspicious vehicles or individuals knocking on doors to ask random questions.

Anyone in the area who may have home surveillance video is asked to share the video with police.

And, as always, call 9-1-1 to report criminal activity.
