MIAMI VALLEY — Monday marks the start of National School Bus Safety Week.
>> Cool this morning; Sunny week ahead
As a reminder, Clark County lists what drivers should do when they approach a school bus:
- Drivers approaching a school bus from either direction are required to stop at least 10 feet away
- When a road is divided into four or more lanes, only traffic driving in the same direction needs to stop
- Drivers can resume travel once the bus continues driving
The county also reminds people that yellow flashing lights are a warning that the bus is about to stop.

There will be multiple troopers along bus routes and in school zones this week to ensure the safety of students, according to a release from Clark County.
