Children of all ages are encouraged to attend and bring their bicycles.

In cooperation with the Centerville Police Department and Miami Valley Hospital South, bikes will be given a pre-safety check before kids attempt to test ride the “obstacle course” in the parking lot, according to a release. Bicycle helmet fittings will be available.

“In many ways, it takes an entire community to make sure that our children grow up in a safe environment,” said club President Gary Hansen. “With programs like this, Optimists hope to do our part in assuring that children enjoy safe cycling.”
