Riverside police vehicle involved in crash on Airway Road in Riverside

Police and medic units are on the scene of a vehicle accident involving a Riverside police cruiser on Airway Road at La Perre Drive in Riverside.

A dispatcher with Huber Heights police, which dispatches for Riverside police at night, said they took a call about 7:14 p.m. reporting a crash involving an unknown number of vehicles.

We have a crew on the way to the scene. We're working to learn about the injuries in the Airway Road accident and what may have happened there.

We're working to learn whether the vehicle accident on Airway Road is connected to a multiple-vehicle accident involving Riverside and Dayton police cruisers near the Dayton Metro Library's main branch in the 200 block of East Third Street.
