Ritter’s Frozen Custard in Beavercreek stops sales of some items due to supply shortages

BEAVERCREEK — Ritter’s Frozen Custard in Beavercreek said nationwide shortages have prompted the location to stop selling certain items at its shop on Dayton-Xenia Road.

“Unfortunately, we are no longer selling ready to eat quarts/pints, frozen quarts/pints of vanilla, chocolate or lite vanilla, nor premade cakes or pies,” the Beavercreek location said in a Facebook post. “We have a certain amount of custard to run each day and when it is gone daily, we will be out of product for that day.”

Ritter’s Frozen Custard has two area locations, including another store on Wilmington Pike in Kettering. It’s unclear if the Kettering location is impacted by the shortages, however News Center 7 is waiting for a response from the franchise.

The Beavercreek shop said it is focused on providing customers with the products the location serves to the best of its ability.

“Thank you in advance for your kindness and consideration,” the location said.
