DAYTON — UPDATE @ 4:50 p.m.:

At least five people were hurt after a shooting in Dayton Tuesday afternoon.

News Center 7’s Kylie Bridgeman will be on scene. She will have the latest LIVE on News Center 7 at 6:00.

Dayton police were called to the 900 block of Westwood Avenue around 4:10 p.m.

Three people were taken to Miami Valley Hospital, and two people were taken to Dayton Children’s Hospital, a sergeant with Montgomery County Regional Dispatch confirmed.

Police are investigating reports of multiple people hurt after a shooting in Dayton.

Dayton police were called to 900 block of Westwood Avenue around 4:10 p.m.

A source with the Dayton Police Department confirmed to News Center 7 that there are multiple people with gunshot wounds.

Our News Center 7 crew is on scene and has seen at least two ambulances leave.

A neighbor told our crew they heard over 30 gunshots.
