UPDATE: U.S. Marshals Service agents arrest Springfield homicide suspect

SPRINGFIELD — UPDATE @ 9:15 p.m. (May 6): U.S. Marshals Service agents have arrested Jashon Robinson, 21, wanted on a charge of murder in a Springfield homicide that occurred Sunday.

Robinson was apprehended in Dayton just before 6:30 p.m.

Springfield police are on the way to Dayton to return Robinson, Springfield Police Lt. Matthew Buynak said.

He was booked into the Clark County Jail just before 7 p.m. on a charge of murder with specifications, according to the online jail roster.

The Springfield Police Department has issued a warrant for a murder suspect in relation to the homicide that occurred Sunday evening on South Center Street in Springfield.

Jashon Robinson, 21, is being sought for murder in connection to the death of Tyler R. Fullen, 27, who was found with several gunshot wounds, police say.
