Deputies investigating SUV crashed into trees, abandoned

JEFFERSON TWP., Montgomery County — Deputies are investigating after a single-vehicle crash left an empty car deep in the trees near the intersection of Hoover and Miller avenues.

Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office deputies said that there were no injuries in the crash, but that the driver appeared to have fled.

The vehicle, a Chevrolet SUV, was towed on a flatbed.

The incident remains under investigation.
