CINCINNATI — Cincinnati Police are investigating a shooting that happened near University of Cincinnati’s campus Sunday.
Our news partners at WCPO reported that the shooting happened near Mio’s Pizza on Short Vine Street around 5:30 p.m. Sunday.

A person was shot in area of Short Vine Street. WCPO reported the victim’s condition and suspect information are unknown at this time.
The incident prompted UC campus security to send an alert to students that warned students to stay at their locations and to “be observant/take action as needed.”

An all-clear message was sent out to students around 5:50 p.m. that said officers checked the area and “there [was] no threat to the campus community.”
