DAYTON — Police and fire crews responded to reports of a grenade found in a house in Dayton, according to Dayton police.

The grenade was inspected after the bomb squad arrived on scene, and they found it was an inactive practice grenade, according to the bomb squad.

As reported on News Center 7 at 6, the initial alert said the grenade was found in a box in a house.
The scene is near Nill Ave in southeast Dayton.
Police say the neighborhood was not at any risk during the investigation.
