DAYTON — UPDATE @ 5:45 p.m.: Two males police detained in the Boost Mobile store robbery investigation will be booked into jail and charges of aggravated robbery will be pursued, an undercover Dayton police detective said.
Both are adults, the detective said. No other information about the detainees was available.
The detective also said police have recovered a handgun and a couple of masks believed to have been used in the robbery.
INITIAL REPORT
Police have two people detained in the reported armed robbery of the Boost Mobile store, 3145 Salem Ave., in Dayton.

Police Lt. Steven Bauer said police are working to see where the investigation takes them.
The robbery is believed to have occurred between 4:30 and 5 p.m.
Police took one person into custody somewhere on Piccadilly Avenue, which is near the store, after a foot chase. No word on how the second person was apprehended.
We're hearing police are looking for a handgun believed to have been used in the robbery.
No shots were fired and no injuries have been reported.
