Woman arrested after ‘jumping’ bailiff at Dayton house identified

UPDATE @ 1:30 p.m. (June 13):

The woman who “jumped” a bailiff who was serving her an eviction notice has been identified as Kimberly Amelia Robinson, 41, court records show.

Robinson was arrested and is facing two assault charges.

UPDATE @ 1:19 p.m.:

A bailiff  has minor injuries after he was “jumped” by a woman while he was serving an eviction notice, according to Dayton police.

He did not need to be transported to the hospital.

The woman was at the Princeton Drive home when the bailiff was serving an eviction notice.

She became combative and was arrested, according to police.

We are working to learn her identity and if she is facing any charges. We will update this story as more information is available.

An occupant of a Dayton house on Princeton Drive “jumped” a bailiff who was serving an eviction notice Tuesday morning, according to Dayton police.

The bailiff suffered minor injuries in the incident that will likely require stitches, investigators told our crew on the scene.

The incident prompted a request for county-wide officer assistance but most units were allowed to cancel their response to the house.

A woman was detained at the scene and transported in the back of a police cruiser, however it was not clear if she was arrested in connection to the incident.

Additional details were not available, we’ll update this story as we learn more.

FIRST REPORT

Extra police crews have responded to the 1400 block of Princeton Drive in Dayton after a county-wide call for assistance was issued.

Initial emergency dispatch traffic indicated authorities were in the area as part of an eviction notice around 10:20 a.m.

A bailiff was reportedly involved in whatever occurred at the address, according to initial emergency dispatch traffic.

There also were reports of a person being taken into custody.
