Billy Joe Farra, 35, and Jessica Rose Boomershine, 42, were charged with two counts each of kidnapping, aggravated burglary and aggravated robbery, police Sgt. Jeff Muncy said.

Farra is also facing a weapons under disability charge.

Miamisburg police confirmed Friday morning both Farra and Boomershine were arrested in connection to a home break-in, kidnapping and assault of the 85-year-old man early Thursday morning.

Boomershine was arrested around 10 p.m. Thursday at the Hollywood Gaming racino in Dayton. Police said they notified casino staff they were looking for her and called Miamisburg investigators when she showed up Thursday night.

Farra was arrested at a home in the first block of Drummer Avenue around 1 a.m. Friday, jail records show.

On Thursday, police said the victim was assaulted and taken against his will from his Wileray Drive home.

The man was driven to an ATM to withdraw cash before the burglars abandoned him and his vehicle at a Rumpke waste and recycling facility on East Monument Avenue in Dayton.

The victim was discovered bleeding heavily in a break room by a worker at the Rumpke facility, police said.

Investigators said the victim is expected to survive, but was “pretty roughed up.”
