2 in custody, 1 on the run after home invasion robbery in Harrison Twp.

HARRISON TWP. — UPDATE @ 11:05 a.m.: 

Two people are in custody and a third suspect is on the run following a home invasion robbery at an apartment in Harrison Twp.

Deputies continue to surround a unit in the complex on Forest Park Drive after investigators responded around 9 a.m.

Two people were taken into custody by deputies shortly after responding to the incident. One person, who deputies did not provide a description of, remains on the run.

A man, woman, and baby were in the apartment during the home invasion and a gun was displayed during the robbery, deputies confirmed. None of the victims suffered injuries.

A medic unit was requested to check one of the suspects who was cut by broken glass, deputies said.

Additional details are expected to be released later today.

We are working to learn more about an active law enforcement investigation reported in the area of Forest Park Drive in Harrison Twp.

Reports indicate deputies are looking for at least two people who fled the area on foot, according to emergency scanner traffic.

Deputies and Dayton police have reportedly set up a perimeter in the area to search for the suspects.

It was not immediately known why deputies were searching for these suspects.
