Now, Bushel & a Peck in Piqua is selling t-shirts with Phil on them that say “Come and Take Me,” the owners shared on social media.

“I mentioned to my talented sister we should draw Phil our local werewolf in Piqua. We did and we love him,” the post read.

Phil was at the center of controversy in a Piqua neighborhood when a neighbor complained to the city about the statue. That led the city to leave a notice on the owner’s door asking her to “please take down the seasonal wolf decoration.”

Since Phil was labeled as seasonal, the owner, Mary Simmons, has decided to “make him seasonal for every holiday.”

A representative from the city later told News Center 7 that Simmons was allowed to leave Phil up if she wants.
