911 CALL: Parachutist injured in fall at Skydive Greene County

A 911 caller reported a skydiver suffered a fractured leg as he was coming in for a landing along South Monroe Siding Road Sunday afternoon.

GREENE COUNTY BUREAU: Hearing for Sugarcreek Twp. assisted living facility postponed

According to the caller, the victim fell from around 20 to 30 feet during the incident, according to records.

The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries.

One person was taken to the hospital after an accident today at the Skydive Greene County, 177 S. Monroe Siding Road.

The severity of the person’s injuries and details about what happened were not immediately available.

Emergency crews in Greene County are responding to a reported serious injury at Skydive Greene County, 177 S. Monroe Siding Road.

A life squad was called to the scene around 2:15 p.m. after a 30-year-old male parachutist hit the ground from a fall of 20 to 30 feet, according to emergency scanner traffic.
