CLINTON COUNTY — One person was killed in single-vehicle crash in Clinton County, Lt. Stanley Jordan confirmed.
The fatal crash happened on St. Rt. 380 in Chester Twp., at approximately 3:33 p.m. on Sunday.
A Chevrolet Corvette, operated by Todd Bonham, 55 of Wilmington, was traveling southbound, when it went off the right side of the road and struck a tree. Bonham was not wearing his seat belt and was ejected from his car. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol was assisted on scene by the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office and Chester Twp. Fire Department.
The patrol would like to remind motorists to always wear their seat belts.
