Early voting hours are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. every weekday.

As reported on News Center 7 Daybreak, ahead of November’s election day, multiple board of elections offices are busy preparing.
In Miami County, election officials will have to run two elections. This includes the Midterm Election and a special election for voters who live in Piqua.
Voters will decide on whether to recall three of the city commissioners.
Piqua voters will cast their votes in the general election at the early vote center, and then will have to check in at the office to receive their ballot for the special election.
“They will be voting, not voting twice,” said Laura Bruns from the Miami County Board of Elections. “They will be voting in each separate election separately.”
To cast a vote, residents must show a valid form of ID photo.
In the event of a legal name change, the Secretary of State website says you’ll need proof of the legal name change.
Greene County Board of Elections Director Tracy Smith said that a Midterm election includes a U.S. Senate race and all Ohio’s executive offices, including the governor race, and is just as big as a presidential race.
“I mean just just the phone calls we get daily, just the emails that I go back and forth you know, so its it really really step things up. The only thing bigger is going to be a presidential race,” said Smith.
Early voting hours are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. every weekday.
