MORAINE — The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) is expected to hold a press conference today showing off how they are preparing for this winter.
As part of their “Winter Readiness Program”, ODOT will be inspecting their equipment to make sure it’s ready for winter road conditions this year.

Recently Mandi Dillon, ODOT Public Information Officer, told News Center 7 that ODOT is looking to hire seasonal workers, like snowplow drivers.
They say current labor shortages have affected their ability to hire enough drivers.
