NEW CARLISLE — New Carlisle invites everyone to their New Year’s Eve Ball Drop on December 31.
The city will host the event downtown at 9 p.m., lasting for approximately three hours, a spokesperson for New Carlisle started.
The festivities will include free carriage rides around the downtown area.
It will also feature hotdogs and hot chocolate, while they last.
Additionally, guests will have opportunities to win in both luck-based and performance-based competitions with “50/50 drawing, cold hard cash giveaways, [and] frozen tshirts contests,” the spokesperson said.
The festivities will finally be encapsulated by DJ Tommy’s performance, playing music alongside the fun activities, the spokesperson informed.
For anyone looking to watch and not miss the Ohio State game, the city will be playing a live stream of the broadcast on “the big screen,” the spokesperson said.
