3-vehicle accident on I-675 South in Greene County sends 3 people to hospitals

I-675 South was briefly shut down between Indian Ripple Road and Wilmington Pike after a vehicle flipped on its top. Three people were injured and taken to local hospitals, including one person who had to be extricated from the wreckage.

The people injured in the three-vehicle accident on I-675 South in Greene County suffered minor injuries, Sugarcreek Twp. Fire Capt. Ken Collier said.

Collier said that the crash was likely due to driver inattention. “I think that was the case with this one, but the Ohio State Patrol is investigating it,” he said.

A two-vehicle accident on I-675 North, occurred while crews were handling the southbound accident, resulting in two injuries, fire officials said.
