Power restored to nearly all in Montgomery County

MONTGOMERY COUNTY — UPDATE @ 9:50 p.m.:

All but five Dayton Power and Light customers in Montgomery County have power, according to the utility’s online outage map.

UPDATE @ 3:50 p.m.:

Nearly 150 DP&L customers in Montgomery County are without power.

As of 3:45 p.m., 149 customers in the New Lebanon area.

INITIAL REPORT:

More than 1,000 DP&L customers are without power Friday afternoon.

According to the DP&L outage map, 1,122 customers didn’t have power as of 3:30 p.m.

Most of the outages were in the Dayton and Oakwood areas.

It is not clear what caused the outage.
