Miamisburg Kroger hosts grand opening celebration Friday

MIAMISBURG — The Kroger on North Heincke Road in Miamisburg held a grand opening Friday.

The first 300 customers at 7:00 a.m. received a $10 Kroger gift card.

Long-term associates will be honored at the grand opening ceremony, and Kroger will announce donations to local organizations combating food insecurity.

From 10:00 a.m. until noon there was a meet and greet with WhoDey Mascot and Ben-Gals cheerleaders from the Cincinnati Bengals.

“We are excited to continue our Full, Fresh and Friendly experience to the Miamisburg community with the opening of this new marketplace,” said Jenifer Moore, corporate affairs manager for the Cincinnati/Dayton division.

The $27 million store includes a new Starbucks, bistro seating area, sushi bar, household, kitchen, and apparel, along with an expanded floral, produce, bakery, and meat departments and expanded PickUp, Pharmacy, and The Little Clinic services.
