Mendelsons was known to be packed with antique and retro items and clothing. As well as NFL and Avon licensed jewelry.

Owner Sandy Mendelson looked back on the store’s 55 years downtown.

“Dayton has been good to us and we’ve given back tens of thousands of dollars in merchandise to charities, people in need, church groups, and various organizations,” Mendelson said. “We believe in sharing our blessings with the city and region we love.”
