DAYTON — One person was hospitalized after a fire in Dayton Saturday morning.

Around 10:50 a.m. crews were called to the first block of Victor Avenue to reports of a fire with flames seen, according to initial reports.
Dayton fire on social media confirmed that multiple engines are on the scene along with medic units and there is “heavy fire”.

One person was taken from the scene to the hospital, Montgomery County regional dispatch confirmed.
We are working to learn how serious their injuries were and what caused the fire.
