SPRINGFIELD — At least one person has been hurt in a serious crash in the area of East High Street and Raffensperger Avenue this afternoon.
A medical helicopter was requested to respond to take the person to the hospital.

The crash was reported around 3:15 p.m. and reportedly involved two vehicles, according to Springfield police.
The passenger side of one of the vehicle was completely caved in, investigators said.
We’re working to learn more about those involved in the crash and whether any traffic is impacted.
