Dayton man wanted on murder charge in 2016 killing back in custody

UPDATE @ 8:35 a.m. (Sept. 19): 

A Dayton man indicted on murder charges stemming from the 2016 shooting death of Lynn Shackelford has been arrested.

Ralphiel Harris, 28, was arrested Monday afternoon and is currently listed as an inmate at the Montgomery County Jail. Harris originally was arrested a day after the Oct. 28, 2016, shooting, but later was released.

He was indicted by a Montgomery County grand jury last month on two counts of murder and two counts of felonious assault, prompting a warrant to be issued for his arrest.

Harris’ court date is scheduled for later this week.

A grand jury indicted a man accused of shooting to death Lynn Shackelford at the Summit Square Apartments last October.

Ralphiel Harris, 28, of Dayton, was indicted for two counts of murder and two counts of felonious assault,

A warrant has been issued for Harris’ arrest, according to court records. He is scheduled to be arraigned on Sept. 7.
