SIDNEY — A jury has reached a verdict in the case of the 20-year-old man police say stabbed a Sidney woman to death in February.

Police records showed Barger and Wilson had a dispute about Barger living with Wilson. News Center 7 previously reported that an officer noted in the police report that Wilson told them, “Riley was supposed to be there for a few days, but he’s been there for over a month.”

Officers cleared the scene after Barger gained entry into the house. Shortly after, police received a 911 call reporting a stabbing at the residence.

Medics took Wilson to Wilson Health, where she died from her injuries.
